Line Dancing

Line Dance Classes

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024  ** NEW absolute beginner class **

If you want to learn how to line dance, pop along on a Monday night at 6.00pm and try it out, all ages welcome.  We repeat the teaches every week and learn one new dance so you can join anytime.

We have a very active group of enthusiastic line dancers, who meet weekly in the Church Hall on Monday nights from 7.15pm.  We are in the main experienced dancers of all ages who enjoy the exercise and social aspects of the class and would welcome new attendees.

There are many different styles of dance incorporated into line dancing including salsa, rumba, cha cha, waltz to name a few.  The music too is varied and upbeat – everything from rock & roll, swing, irish and chart music, which surprises many people.   We also wear normal loose clothing and flat shoes, not jeans and boots these days.

The teacher is Patrice Reid, who has been dancing for 30 years and you can contact her on 07552-131715.
